Preliminary Task Evaluation

• What went well

Throughout the planning process we managed to complete a good storyboard and we had a really good idea for our task. (Disgracefully we couldn't use it for our task for reasons i will explain later).

Also, while planning the video we found a really good room in which we were able to film with no distractions from anyone or anything. Overall, we did a pretty good job to meet the requirements as a group and we never argued about anything, by this i mean that we sorted out the roles of each one of the group members and progressed while agreeing on every idea we had (such as changing the storyboard). Last but not least, i must mention that we went through a bad start because one of our team members was sick for the first three days of the project and another one left the school two days after we started planning and working on ideas, so we were only two out of four members working on the project. Another point to mention is that we didn't put as much effort in the development of the story because we rather using that time to use a wider range of shots instead. We approached the video in a more technical way. 

• What could be improved

How i mentioned before, we had some trouble with our storyboard due to the sudden changes to our group. This made us take a fast decision and choose a more basic idea (to which we couldn't create a storyboard for due to the lack of time). Also, i think that a couple of the camera shots are a bit blurry and unfocused from the character, i believe we could of taken the shots again but we just left them like that because we didn't really have the time to do so. We could of communicated better too between team members, because this lack of communication affected us by making us waste time. By this i mean that the team member that got sick could of told us when he was going to comeback and the team member that left the school could of told us his intentions from the begininng so we could of adjusted our storyboard to a three people group instead of a four people group. And also i think that we could of used our time better during the first lessons.
